Previously, he held the position of Federal Minister for Power in the Abbasi cabinet from October 2017 to May 2018. Leghari has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 2002 to 2007 and again from March 2011 to May 2018. He was elected from NA-186 Dera Gazi Khan 3 in the 2024 general elections and has been serving as a member of the National Assembly since 29 February 2024.

Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa (سردار محمد لطیف خان کھوسہ) born 25 July 1946) is a Pakistani lawyer and politician (sitting MNA) who is an advocate in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He served as the Governor of Punjab from 2011 to 2013. He is the incumbent Member of National Assembly Pakistan from NA-122 Lahore since 10 February 2024. He was a senator from 2003 to 2009, the attorney general of Pakistan in 2008 to 2009 and the Federal advisor of Information Technology and Telecommunication from 2009 to 2010. Khosa also remained a member of the Pakistan Bar Council and served as its Executive Committee's chairman. He co-authored an electoral fraud report with former prime minister Benazir Bhutto shortly before her assassination in December 2007. Khosa had been one of Bhutto's aides. Long associated with PML-N (Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz); briefly joined PTI (2018–2023). He is the father of former Punjab Chief Minister Dost Muhammad Khosa and remains a prominent figure in southern Punjab’s politics.
